For Campers & Guests

What to bring

Pack light, pack smart — and label everything.

Bring this

  • Bible, notebook, and pen
  • Shorts, t-shirts, and casual clothes for evenings
  • Very messy clothes — some may come home permanently stained; that’s a sign of a good week
  • One-piece swimsuit and a plastic bag for wet items
  • Bedding — twin sheets or a sleeping bag — plus a pillow
  • Towels (pool and shower) and personal hygiene items
  • Sunscreen, insect repellent, and a flashlight
  • More than one pair of shoes (see “messy clothes,” above)
  • Snacks and a little spending money for the gift shop

Leave this at home

  • Cell phones — please don’t send one with your child; a week unplugged is half the magic, and we’ll call you right away if anything comes up
  • Firearms, weapons, alcohol, tobacco, and anything else you’d expect on this list

Questions about a specific camp’s list? Call (337) 457-9047 — some hosted camps send their own.
