Marriage policy

We believe marriage is a holy institution established by God as the exclusive, covenantal union of one man and one woman, as taught in Scripture (Genesis 2:24; Matthew 19:4–6).

Accordingly, only marriages conforming to this definition may be conducted on Acadian Baptist Center property or officiated by our staff and members. This policy is an exercise of our religious convictions and the freedoms protected by the First Amendment.
